Gay Marriage

Reading the article by Katha Pollitt, "What's wrong with Gay Marriage?", really opened my eyes. Most people who see gays, their first reaction is to judge, but really they don't take the time to get to know that person. We are so focused on what our appearance and how we come across to people nowadays that we don't think that just because this person is gay does not necessarily mean we have to be opening and understanding to other people's views and beliefs.
